Last Sunday’s New York Times recounted the story of several woman who having artificially conceived,are making the decision to “selectively reduce” (a euphemism for that dirty word abortion) one of the children in cases where twins have resulted. What a sad commentary- children have become reduced to the status of lifestyle accessories. We told woman they had the right to “choose” and in doing so could propel our Nation into the future. Sadly, they failed to mention that this was “Nothing new under the Sun”. The Phonecians of antiquity were infamous(as recounted by ancient historians), even by Roman standards of the day for sacrificing infants…..
